- Target Market: Dual Use; Either Fresh Market or Processing
- Brix Rating: 15-18
Description: Trees of the ‘N7-3’ sweet orange cultivar are upright and vigorous, typical for a sweet orange cultivar. Fruit holds its quality into the summer, allowing an April-June harvest. Fruit of ‘N7-3’ is practically seedless, yielding 0.17 seeds per fruit. ‘N7-3’ provides a late season fresh sweet orange which may accompany late-season fresh grapefruit. Although not much data is available on yield, the original ‘N7-3’ yielded slightly less than a standard Valencia.
