Description: ‘UF-16-345’ has unique, large pink center coloration on fancy shaped leaves. Compared to commercial cultivar ‘Fannie Munson’, ‘UF-16-345’ produces fuller potted plants with more leaves. In garden trials, plants of this new cultivar grew taller than ‘Fannie Munson’ and demonstrated improved sunburn tolerance and leaf health. This cultivar performs well in shady locations in the landscape. ‘UF-16-345’ appears to be resistant to Fusarium tuber rot and resistant or moderately resistant to root-knot nematodes Meloidogyne arenaria and M. javarica. ‘UF-16-345’ will be marketed under the commercial name Lady Bug™.
