Description: ‘Albus’ is a vigorous, high-yielding, high-quality, early through late season cultivar for the evergreen production system, with no known disease issues. High vigor, with large yield from early through late season. ‘Albus’ is a firm fruit with a heavy wax bloom. Good performance with no disease problems observed. Moderate level of susceptibility to chilli thrips observed, similar to other cultivars. Very high yields have been documented for several years in south-central Florida and northern Peru. The fruit is large, firm, with very high bloom, long post-harvest and with high scores on the tasting panels.
