Aglaonema Cultivar
Description: The upper leaf surfaces of the Mondo Bay® ‘742-3’ Aglaonema cultivar display a dark-green background, edge, and midrib that are highlighted with lighter grey-green splotches. These variegated areas appear in uneven bands, originating from the midrib and angled towards the leaf-tip to form a rough V-pattern. The underside leaf surfaces of Mondo Bay® ‘742-3’ are lighter green with lighter, yellow-green midrib and lateral veins. Plants of this variety that are grown in 1.6 L pot will reach marketable size in 9 months. In addition, plants of Mondo Bay® ‘742-3’ will average 10.7 basal shoots when treated with liquid fertilizer. This variety is intended for commercial producers growing finished plants in 1.6 L or 3.9 L containers.
